My name is Susi Weaser.

This is my massive face.  As you can see from the almost-visible hearts in my eyes, I’m in love with copywriting. As you can see from my wry smile, I find the idea of headshots vaguely amusing.

So, we can confirm I have a face. But what else?

Previous Alter Ego

PR for Vodafone, Epson, Hovis – the original carb-loading geeky PR archetype.

Why Are You Telling Me This?

I learned to write press releases for a wide variety of clients and gained experience in calling up journalists to check if they received my press release.

Previous Alter Ego

Editor of the UK’s leading technology site, Shiny Shiny, and freelancer for everyone from GQ to The Guardian.

Why Are You Telling Me This?

Learned to not pick up the phone to PRs calling to check if I’d seen their press release. Learned to deliver top-notch copy on deadline, focused on the user benefits and not the technical specifications.

Previous Alter Current Ego

Since 2015, I’ve been a freelance copywriter.

Why are you telling me this?

Because I love it. I count myself incredibly lucky that one of the pandemic effects has been to open people’s eyes to the efficiency of remote working. I’m fluent in Slack, Microsoft Teams and Asana, and I can promise you that more work gets done when I’m not sitting near a water cooler.
